( ABOUT ME )
Hi I'm Samy Akliouat

( Chapter 1 : WHO I AM )
MY IDENTITY
I was born in Algeria, a place rich in culture, shaped by creativity, resourcefulness, and the energy of its people. Growing up in that environment, I developed a deep curiosity early on. I was the kid who took things apart just to understand how they worked. That spirit of exploring, figuring things out, and creating with whatever I had still defines me today.
MY GROWTH
As I grew up, my curiosity turned into a need to create. I started experimenting, building small things, mixing design, code, and ideas however I could. Over time, I realized I wasn't drawn to one discipline, but to the connection between them — how technology, creativity, and problem-solving could shape real experiences. That mix became the foundation of how I work today.
MY HOBBIES
I love talking with people, understanding their ideas, stories, and perspectives. I also enjoy following technology and scientific progress, seeing how everything evolves and reshapes our world. Even though I don't play much anymore, video games are still a part of what inspires me. And at the center of everything, I value spending time with my family and friends. In the near future, I want to travel more and discover new cultures, new ways of living, new ways of thinking.
( Chapter 2: WHAT I DO )
MY FORMATION
I've always been driven by curiosity, so most of my learning came from self-education — books, online courses, videos, documentation, and a lot of experimentation. I learned by doing, breaking things, rebuilding, and exploring until everything made sense. Alongside that, I completed a Technical Studies (TS) in Computer Science with a specialization in databases, where I built a strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and SQL. Later, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Design (CSI), which helped me understand how digital systems are structured, designed, and connected in the real world. This mix of self-learning and formal education shaped the way I work today: independent, curious, and focused on understanding systems as a whole.
MY EXPERIENCES
I've been working in the tech world for more than 5 years, moving through different roles that shaped the way I build products today. I started in IT support, working as a Help Desk technician in two large companies. At PMG SPA, I discovered the world of retail and learned how technology supports fast-paced, high-demand environments. At Clinique du Val SPA, I was exposed to the medical field, where precision, responsibility, and reliability matter more than anything. For the past two years, I've been working as a Software Engineer at BRQloud, where I manage projects from end to end — from concept to architecture, design, development, deployment, and iteration. This role strengthened my ability to think globally, understand user needs, and deliver solutions that actually work. Alongside my job, I also take freelance projects whenever the mission inspires me and when time allows it. This keeps me connected to different industries, different people, and different challenges. And beyond client work, I'm actively building my own products — including UNYS, a SaaS project I'm developing with the goal of creating simple, useful, and impactful tools.
